The Grand Exchange Update July 2022

SevenCapital are pleased to share the latest update for The Grand Exchange build.

All structural steelwork and intumescent paint to zone 3 have been completed, metal roof deck has been delivered to site and placed on top of steelwork and installation is in progress. Internal partition works and MEP installations are progressing in zone 1 and zone 2, MEP installations have progressed in zone 3 for utility providers.

Works to the external envelope of the building including render windows are all progressing on site and whilst these works are largely behind programme at this stage it is not considered that these are critical.

Works completed since last update

Since the last update, our team have been busy completing the following works:

• Progressed with remaining SFS works to roof level zone 1
• Progressed with insulated render to zone 1
• Progressed with rainscreen cladding to zone 1
• Progressed with internal partitions zone 1
• Progressed with 1st fix MEP installations zone 1
• Progressed with 1st fix sprinkler installations zone 1
• Progressed with roof waterproofing zone 2
• Commence construction of planters in communal terrace zone 2
• Completed installation of davit system zone 2
• Completed scaffold zone 2
• Completed CP boarding zone 2
• Progressed with window installation zone 2
• Progressed with insulated render zone 2
• Commenced rainscreen cladding zone 2
• Progressed internal partitions zone 2
• Progressed 1st fix MEP installations zone 2
• Progressed 1st fix sprinkler installation zone 2
• Completed roof steelwork zone 3
• Completed intumescent paint to roof steelwork zone 3
• Completed scaffolding zone 3
• Commenced roof deck installation zone 3
• Completed scaffolding zone 3
• Progressed with CP boarding zone 3
• Progressed with MEP 1st fix zone 3
• Commenced decoration works to plantroom zone 3
• Progressed with blockwork generally
• Progressed with balcony steelwork installation zones 1,2 and 3
• Installed transformers in substation

Completion

Completion of The Grand Exchange is anticipated to take place on 24th April 2023.We are providing this date as guidance only and it is subject to change in line with the build programme.
