SevenHomes: Plans Submitted For 30 New Homes In Northfield

Plans have been submitted to build a development of 30 new homes on the site of the former Ross House medical facility in Northfield, Birmingham.

SevenHomes, the regional housebuilder by SevenCapital Group, acquired the 2.4-acre brownfield site in August last year from the NHS. Previously classed as surplus land, the sale means the land can now be redeveloped and brought back to life whilst capital raised will be injected back into NHS services.

Located off Sheldon Road, the new development – The Crescent, will feature a range of two, three and four-bedroom family homes in terrace, detached and townhouse styles, with a gross development value (GDV) of £7.5 million.

The Crescent benefits from good road and rail connectivity into Birmingham, with close proximity to the M5 / M42 motorway links.  A plethora of popular amenities are also accessible nearby, including the multi-million-pound retail facilities in Longbridge, green spaces of Cofton Park and the popular Lickey Hills Country Park.
