Iron House 60% Sold One Year Ahead of Completion

Iron House, a new development of luxury studio, one- and two- bedroom city style apartments in Slough, is already 60% sold out one year ahead of its expected completion.
The development, by leading UK developer SevenCapital, sits just 100 metres from Slough train station and is expected to complete by the end of the year.
Buyers looking to invest in a studio, or one-bedroom apartment are out of luck however, as all have already been sold, with only the remaining two-beds now available.
Andy Foote, director at SevenCapital, said: “Being 60% sold out this far ahead of completion is testament to the increasing popularity of Slough as a place to live. This can be in part attributed to the impending arrival of Crossrail, which has acted as a huge catalyst to businesses and individuals alike recognising and subsequently investing into the potential and opportunity that lies within the town.
“Iron House, when complete, will be ideally placed for the growing number of London commuters who are looking to Slough as a more affordable place to live, without compromising on quality or lifestyle.”
Discussing Slough’s growing popularity, he continued: “Without Crossrail, Slough still sits just 24 minutes by train from London Paddington, making it ideal as a commuter location – recent research suggests around 46% of Slough homes are rented to London leavers. For those looking for high price growth areas, the South East has been tipped by JLL to grow on average by 14.8% over the next four years and with Slough currently enjoying a circa £3 billion injection into its regeneration, the town certainly looks set to surpass that.”
