Stirchley Retail Park

Pershore Road, Birmingham

STIRCHLEY RETAIL PARK, Birmingham

SevenCapital has acquired a 9-acre cleared development site in Stirchley, Birmingham. The site enjoys a prominent location on the Pershore Road – one of the main arterial routes south of the city, and backs on to the River Rea, a popular cycling route. The site was previously owned by Tesco but has lay derelict for a number of years.

SevenCapital is now engaging with the local authority and local stakeholders to set to work on plans to transform the space into a mixed-use development that will deliver much needed residential and retail space; in turn providing both employment opportunities and affordable homes to the local community.

Stirchley has excellent transport links to the city centre at nearby Bournville train station and through a number of bus routes. With the anticipated reopening of the Camp Hill Line at Hazelwell Lane, Stirchley will soon benefit from access to two train stations providing improved access to the city centre and wider region.
