The Grand Exchange – May 2021 Update

SevenCapital’s latest development, The Grand Exchange, is back with another update, and is progressing on schedule:

Piling operations and foundations were completed 2 weeks ahead of schedule which is an excellent achievement for the site team considering the challenges they are facing due to the pandemic.

The frame structure for the development commenced on 12th April 2021 with construction taking approximately 44 weeks to complete.

The ground beams and drainage works are continuing throughout the month and are due to be completed at the end of May 2021.

Completion of The Grand Exchange is anticipated to commence from Q2 2023. We are providing these dates as guidance only and are subject to change in line with the build programme.

The Grand Exchange will mark one of many new additions to Bracknell, with the town’s £770 million regeneration scheme set to transform the town. 

While this landmark development will offer residents access to an exclusive spa and communal work spaces, the Bracknell Vision will see new amenities and businesses join this thriving town.

Councillor at Bracknell Town Council, Chris Turrell, says: “We are in a time of change now, but the future is bright for Bracknell. The opening of The Lexicon in 2017 brought us bright and up-to-date shops, restaurants and entertainment. 

“Bracknell’s green spaces make it a pleasant and healthy place to live and move around in. Leisure facilities range from our parks and play areas, to the sports centre and The Lookout. 

“Changes are coming to further revitalise our town centre, with The Deck opening in the next few years, and more housing. Transport links are good within and around us.”
