Former Intel HQ to be transformed into luxury apartments in Slough

Introducing New Eton House.
The former Intel Security office building at 227 Bath Road, Slough, is set to undergo a transformation into a development of luxury residential apartments.
SevenCapital is thrilled to announce announce our acquisition of the stunning glass fronted building, which sits just 10 minutes from the town centre and Crossrail, and opposite Slough’s 474 acre Trading Estate and the global headquarters of Jeep and O2 Telefonica to name a few. Planning has now been granted to convert it into a total of 58 one and two-bedroom boutique apartments, with a gross development value of circa £18 million.
The apartments will range in size from circa 400 sq ft for the smaller one-bedroom units, to more than 780 sq ft for the largest two-bedroom unit, with one top floor, one-bedroom apartment also benefiting from a large, 430 sq ft terrace. All apartments will be available with parking spaces, with 74 in total – a rarity for new apartment projects – plus 58 cycle spaces.
Work is set to start on the development, which will be called New Eton House, in December, with completion expected by early 2020.
Andy Foote, director at SevenCapital, said:
“227 Bath Road, now New Eton House, is an impressive building in a fantastic location at the heart of Slough’s thriving commercial district. Its internal infrastructure and external aesthetic, in particular its floor to ceiling windows, will form great foundations for a first-class apartment development, that we believe Slough is calling out for. We’re really excited to get to work on this project, to transform it into New Eton House, and expect it to prove very popular amongst buyers.”
New Eton House will go on sale for off-plan purchase on November 10th, with pre-launch access available from the 5th.
